Description:
Undated. View of a fly press used to manufacture metal checks or discs at the small family firm of Ardill & Co., of Ridge Works in Meanwood Road. At this time the firm was being run by the third generation family member, Brian Ardill, born in 1907. He was the grandson of the founder of the company, John Ardill, born in 1849.
