Description:
c1917. Postcard with a postdate of 19th May 1917 showing the Norman porch at Adel Church. An addition to the church dating from 1150-1160, this was built between 1160 and 1170 and remains one of the finest examples of Norman sculpture in England. The church is now a Grade I listed building.
