View of the Upper Lake in Roundhay Park. It was created by Thomas Nicholson in the first half of the nineteenth century. The lake covers an area of about 5 acres and is 3 to 4 feet deep. The larger, deeper lake in Roundhay Park is Waterloo Lake.
