c1905. Postcard with a postmark of 26th June 1905 showing the Traveller's Rest public house on Austhorpe Road by the junction with Station Raod. This pub was later demolished and another one of the same name built at the junction of Cross Gates Lane and the Ring Road. To the right is Thompson's grocers shop at no. 3 Austhorpe Road.

This site is now a Carpet Wharehouse, and a Restaurant, but in 1966 it was a supermarket called 'Fine Fare'.
