Town Street, postcard
c1905. View of Lower Town Street looking north-west from a postcard with a postmark of 10th June 1905. The junction with Patchett's Place is towards the right, while the Grapes Hotel is further along on the same side.

What a lovely picture of an historic village, sadly now no longer looks like this. The only remaining stone construction is the wall of Stocks Hill on the left showing the water trough.
