Postcard view showing Leeds and Bradford Road from the junction with Whitecote Lane, probably dating from the early 20th Century. On the left is the Rock Inn public house. Most of the old stone buildings seen here were to be demolished in the Whitecote clearance around the 1960s but the Rock Inn survived and is still there today (2011).
