Description:
Undated. Postcard view showing the children's playground at Pudsey Park, which was opened on 24th April 1928 by the Duke and Duchess of York, later to become King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. The park itself, situated on Church Lane, had been opened in 1889. The playground, which includes swings, slides, roundabouts and a sand pit, is packed with children.

The description tells us that this one is undated. However, it does seem to have somewhat of a 'Post-War' look about it - probably no later than the late 1950's. I think that we could all agree that it definitely isn't of a more recent date. If it were, there'd be very few children in view, as most of them would be at home playing on their computers.
