Roundhay Road, postcard
Description:
c1905. Postcard view of Roundhay Road with a postal date of 25th August 1905. A row of terraced housing is seen from the left while two trams are on the road including open-top no. 157 in front bound for Beeston. The ground floors of the houses have since been converted into shops and the gardens paved over. Numbers rise from 265 on the left, which is currently (2017) Your Loan Shop. The junction with Beck Road is just off the picture to the left. The right hand side of the road, seen here with hedging and a fence, has also since been developed into a row of shops.
