Description: Undated.
Image shows one end of Canal Gardens in Roundhay Park. The gardens were laid out for Thomas Nicholson in the early 19th Century in the form of a long, rectangular lake with a rustic stone bridge at either end. The gardens attract water fowl and there is seating placed at intervals along the broad paths. Photograph courtesy of Stephen Howden.
