Pudsey Grangefield School, Richardshaw Lane, Pudsey
2000/2001 View of the former Pudsey Grangefield School, located in Richardshaw Lane and is Grade 2 listed. It was built C1910/11 and designed by Jowett Kendall. It opened on 21st January 1911 as Pudsey Grammar School. In more recent years the school achieved college status because of its specialist subjects of mathematics and computing. The logo of the school was "Be Just and Fear Not". in the September of 2008 the pupils, aged between 11 and 18 years, were transferred to a £22 million brand new P.F.I.school in Mount Pleasant. The Grade 2 listed building, seen here, will be sold off for conversion to residential units.
