Description:
2000/2001 Image shows Calverley Parkside Primary School, located in Victoria Street. It was originally built as Calverley Board School in 1900 and was celebrating its centenary around the time this photograph was taken. The construction of the school cost £4000 pounds and it was designed to accommodate 264 children. Nowadays, Calverley Parkside Primary School has provision for children aged between 3 and 11 years of age with the inclusion of a 26 place nursery.
