View shows the former works offices of the Hunslet Engine Company, situated on Jack Lane. This is now a listed building. The Hunslet Engine Company was established in 1864 and vacated this site in 1995; it now operates from Maple Park on Lowfields Avenue. A rail track, used for transporting the locomotives built at the works, can still be seen crossing the road.
