View dating from Summer 2010 showing the King's Arms public house at no.20 Stocks Hill, by the junction with Pleasant Street, seen in the foreground. This Grade II listed building, built in the mid 19th century, closed down in 2008 and is shown here boarded up and for sale. Its substantially original interiors have granted it a place on CAMRA's Yorkshire Regional Inventory of historic pub interiors but at the time of writing in 2011 its future is uncertain.
