Side view of the King's Arms public house at no.20 Stocks Hill, seen here from Balm Walk. This historic building, dating from the 19th century though with some alterations in the early 20th, displays the words 'Established over a Century' above the window. Despite being a listed building and featuring on CAMRA's Yorkshire Regional Inventory of historic pub interiors, it closed in Summer 2008 and at the time of the photo in Summer 2010 was boarded up and for sale. At the time of writing (2011) its future still appears uncertain.
