Description: 2010.
View shows the reception area of Airedale Works, taken from the Richmond Bridge that carries South Accommodation Road across the River Aire. The name Henry Hadfield is above the door, referring to the packing case manufacturer who occupied these premises from around the 1890s to the late 1940s/early 1950s. In the mid 1980s the building was taken over by Protier Lifting Services Ltd., who stayed here until the early 2000s when they moved to Grangefield Industrial Estate in Stanningley. At the time of the photo in Autumn 2010, the site is empty, semi-derelict and up for sale.
