Marsh Lane, looking south-west

Marsh Lane, looking south-west
Description:
6th March 1985. View looking south-west along Marsh Lane towards Marsh Lane roundabout and Leeds Parish Church beyond. An advertising hoarding for Rimmel obscures a cleared area on the left. Further along, mostly hidden behind a road sign, is the Smith's Arms public house.

Comment:
You can see from this shot that the parish church had been cleaned and restored to its original colour rather than the sooty blackness of so many previous years .I worked for the company that carried out the cleaning in Summer 1984.
