In the foreground is the junction with Mill Street, with the Kuppa Corner snack bar on the left. After the junction a row of advertising hoardings, including one for Penguin biscuits, are obscuring from view a cleared area where buildings adjoining the Smith's Arms public house have recently been demolished.
