Marsh Lane, south-east side

Marsh Lane, south-east side
6th March 1985. View shows the south-east side of Marsh Lane, by the junction with Garden Street, left, which leads up to the Howarth Timber warehouse seen in the distance. Just off the picture to the right is the Marsh Lane roundabout. Advertising hoardings are visible in the background. This area has since undergone a complete transformation with a new road layout and new high-rise buildings such as the Gateway development which now occupies the site of the timber warehouse.
