c1984. View looking from the grounds of St. Peter's, Leeds Parish Church, across Kirkgate towards Church Lane, which leads under the railway bridge towards New York Street. The lane is blocked off beyond the bridge at this time, giving no access to New York Street; now (2012) a pedestrian walkway leads through under the bridge.
