View shows New York Street with St. Peter's graveyard behind the trees on the left and Church Lane alongside. This leads to a railway bridge beyond which at the time there was no access. Now (2012) this is a pedestrian walkway which leads under the bridge towards Kirkgate and Leeds Parish Church, the tower of which is seen in the background.
