Description:
c1984. View shows New York Street with St. Peter's graveyard behind the trees on the left and Church Lane alongside. This leads to a railway bridge beyond which at the time there was no access. Now (2012) this is a pedestrian walkway which leads under the bridge towards Kirkgate and Leeds Parish Church, the tower of which is seen in the background.

My Gt,Gt,Grandmother Sarah Stell was born in Church Lane in 1816. Her father William was a shoemaker.
