User Comments:

Mr Terence Beckett

The building on the left was St Gabriels Hall, this was owned by St Marks Church and was used for church functions and hired out for other occasions, ie dances, I remember that a dance band practised here, I attended St Marks youth club in the 1950,s this was held in a basement room, the entrance is bottom left of the photo, meetings were held on a Sunday night after attending evensong at St Marks. The Leader was Frank Horton who was my Godfather.
