Blenheim Grove, looking north-west
1970. Looking north-west up Blenheim Grove towards All Souls Church in the background on the left. Nearer the camera on the left are outbuildings of terraced houses which form back-to-backs with Well Close Place. On the right are the rears of houses which front onto Well Close Mount. These terraces were all shortly to be demolished as part of a large clearance scheme for the area.

User Comments:

Eileen Lillyman

These houses were large 3 storey thru terrace houses with large cellars. I was born at 56 Wellclose Mount with our back door on Blenheim Grove. Gardens to the front and yards at the back.
