Little London, rooftops
1970. View over rooftops of Little London taken from flats on Carlton Street. The three parallel streets are Well Close Mount on the left, Back Wall Close Terrace in the centre and Well Close Terrace on the right. All Souls' Church on Blenheim Grove is seen on the left.

My Great Grandfathers brother Richard Stead,lived at No 62 Well Close Terrace from approx 1880 and was still housed there according to the 1911 census.

We lived on Wellclose terrace during the 70s the picture is exactly as I remember it, you can just see one of the corner shops in the top right hand side, happy days
