Undated. View shows Leeds City Transport tram no.272. This was a 'Lance Corporal', a four-wheel version of the Middleton Bogie designed by William Vane Morland specifically for routes with sharp curves. Built at Kirkstall Road Works, it first ran in service in 1935 and continued in use until 1955.
