View shows a sculpture entitled 'Sheep' on the roof of Marshall's Mill on Marshall Street. Created by Leeds-based artist Antonia Stowe, it was commissioned by Igloo Regeneration as part of the Holbeck Urban Village project. It reaches a height of four metres and features illuminating blue eyes. The inspiration behind the sculpture came from the story that sheep used to graze on the roof of the neighbouring Temple Works, which had been covered with turf to retain humidity and prevent the linen drying out. It is rumoured that they were removed after one of them fell through the roof into the mill.
