Description: 2011.
Close-up view of detail on Temple Works, an extension of Marshall's Mill built in Egyptian style to resemble the Temple of Horus at Edfu. This Grade I listed building on Marshall Street was designed by Ignatious Bonomi and completed in 1843. Marshall's Mill went on to be one of the most successful flax-spinning mills in England but eventually closed and the building was more recently the premises of Kay's Mail Order company. Following intensive repairs in 2010 it is now (2012) a thriving arts centre.
