Description:
1989. View of the north side of Brompton Row showing houses numbered (from left) 16 to 10, and below the washing line, 8 to 2. These are back-to-back houses with Stratford Terrace, built prior to 1900 with gas lighting and shared outside toilets. They have since been refurbished with modern plumbing and the attic space fitted with bedroom(s).
