This aerial view of Hunslet shows The Oval in the middle with the Penny Hill Shopping Centre below and to the left. At the bottom is the junction of Church Street, leading off to St. Mary's Church at the centre left, and Low Road, leading right. Hillidge Road runs across the top of The Oval, while the M621 dominates the top half of the picture, running from the left edge to the right edge. Dewsbury Road is above this with the two tower blocks of Crescent Towers (left) and Crescent Grange between. Holbeck Moor is at the top right with a row of high-rise flats that were demolished in 2010 alongside it. The view shows cleared areas where development is due to take place, these include an area at the centre left which will become Grange Close and Grange Road, a space in the middle due to be playing fields and at the centre right the site of Hunslet Green Retail Centre.
