Description:
1951. Image shows children tending tubs of flowers in the school playground. They were taking part in the annual Flowers For Leeds Competition, class 25 (Young People's Gardens). The tubs enhancing the school playground are cut-down beer casks and the children are pupils of St. Silas's School in Goodman Street.
