Description:
August 2007. View of Cross Gates railway station during the removal of the iron footbridge which spanned the railway line. Part of the bridge has already gone so it now comes to a halt in the middle of the tracks. The path on the right which led up to the bridge now leads only to the road bridge seen in the background, which carries Station Road across the railway. Image courtesy of Leslie Cole.
