c2006. View shows the tower of Bridgewater Place under construction. This 32-storey building at the junction of Water Lane and Victoria Road became the tallest structure in Leeds when it was completed in 2007. Designed by Aedas Architects, it was given the nickname 'Dalek' due to its resemblance to the monsters from the TV series Dr. Who. Image courtesy of Leslie Cole.
