Bridgewater Place, construction

Bridgewater Place, construction
c2006. Looking from the top of Leeds City Station across the River Aire and Canal Wharf towards Bridgewater Place under construction. This mixed-use development of residential, office, retail and leisure space on the corner of Water Lane and Victoria Road was destined to become the tallest building in Yorkshire on its completion in 2007. Despite the proposals of several taller structures in Leeds since then nothing has yet been built to rival it. Image courtesy of Leslie Cole.
