Attended 1945-1956 (I think) We had cod liver oil, milk and orange juice in the mornings. In the pm's we had camp beds for our nap. Anyone remember Miss Shepherd, Mrs. Maitland or Miss Cunningham who was also the brownie and guide leader. Happy memories, shame to see it in this state.

I remember it well... or think I do! Mr Hunter as sports teacher, Mr Brooks as a very paternal headmaster, Mrs Maitland and I thought it was Miss Collinwood instilled a sense of curiosity and discovery for which I am forever grateful. I also remember being on set up the camp beds duty, happy days indeed.

Yes you are right it was Miss Collingham. Rumour had it that she was having an affair with Mr. Hunter. Do you remember Mr.Childs he was the headmaster before Mr. Brooks

Yes it was Miss Cunningham. I remember Mr.Childs who was the headmaster before Mr. Brooks. His wife was also a teacher there too. They both retired. I have a photo of his retirement in the school playground.
