2003. Close-up view showing a crane at work on the demolition of Langbar Towers, a block of high-rise flats on Swarcliffe Avenue. Built in the mid-1960s, this block contained 15 storeys and reached a total height of 44 metres. Image courtesy of Leslie Cole.
