2008. View shows the demolition taking place of Elmet Towers high-rise flats off Swarcliffe Drive. This was the tenth 1960s-built tower block on the estate to be demolished in the 2000s; only one now remains, Sherburn Court on York Road. Image courtesy of Leslie Cole.
