Description:
1971. View shows the site of recent demolition in the Harehills area, following the removal of houses numbered 1-5 Alcester Road as well as nos. 10 and 12 Alcester Street which were back-to-backs with Shepherd's Lane. Nos. 14 and 12 Alcester Road are at the end of a terrace on the right while just off the picture to the left is Cross Alcester Road. In the centre background are the rears of semi-detached houses on Markham Avenue, numbered 34-40.
