Reminds me of a factory on pepper road, possibly where the 'pontifex' factory is now near the park. Just a thought though as I was born in 1988.

Could this be the North wall of Richmond Machine Tool Co., formerly Midgeley and Sutcliffe's. The muddied area could be the remains of the Chesney's streets which had the wall at the end of each row of terraces which also had outside toilets. My wife, Pat Oldridge as was, lived at no.8 Chesney View before being re-housed to the Westwood Estate in Middleton with her parents and brother.

I think it appears to be the factory building off Pepper Road in Hunslet that faces onto the grassed area/play area

Looks like the north wall of Richmond Machine tool to Me, worked there around the time they ran the Motorway thru, dinnertime sat on the embankment watching the workers, can still spend hours watching other people work

could be any factory in Leeds, but the one in Pepper Rd might be the YORKSHIRE PATENT STEAM WAGON CO. where I worked for a short time in 1953
