Description: 1971.
View shows some of the decorative screens inside the Garden Gate public house on Waterloo Road. Dating from c1903, the pub is now a Grade II* listed building, as well as holding Tetley Heritage Inn status and being on CAMRA'S National Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors. Having been saved from attempts to close or demolish it on occasions, it is now (2012) owned by Leeds Brewery who are hoping to restore it to its former glory.
