Town Street, no.14
May 1906. View shows no.14 Town Street, the shop of John Rushworth (1847-1928), general house furnisher, cabinet maker and undertaker. The business was to continue for three generations in Rawdon and Yeadon with John Rushworth's sons and grandsons following him. Two women and a young child, believed to be members of the Ruthworth family, stand outside the shop.

I remember the Rushworths and went to school with one of them in 1950's happy days

Rae Toyer

The woman in dark clothing is Ethel Rushworth. I don't know who the second woman is and the child is my mother Ada Louisa Rushworth, youngest child of Charles Edward Rushworth, son of John
