Studio 20, Humphrey Lyttelton
1955. View of the Studio 20 jazz club on New Briggate showing performers including renowned jazz musician Humphrey Lyttelton, playing the trumpet on the right. Lyttelton was one of the many famous names in jazz who played at the club during the 1950s and 1960s. In addition to his musical career, he later became a successful broadcaster, presenting the Radio 4 show 'I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue' for 36 years until his death in 2008.
