1954. Interior view of the Studio 20 jazz club at no.20 New Briggate which hosted some of the most famous names in jazz during the 1950s and 1960s. A better view of the famous mural on the left! I also see Dave Holdsworth (with beard) who painted some of the mural, Terry (?) and Dick Wright, all art students at the time, plus of course Ed O'Donnell on bass. Their skiffle group was fantastic - Ed singing Heel Rattler, etc was sublime! Never to be forgotten! Wonderful to see these faces again!
