1955. View shows a group of Leeds musicians at an unidentified address in Chapeltown. The group were known as Ed O'Donnell and friends. Photograph courtesy of Terry Cryer.
Names L/R Fred challenger. Billy Bowskill, Dave Levine Macdonald, and the great man himself Ed Odonnel. Taken Sunday morning at 50 Cowper street in 1955.
Is this the same Ed O'Donnel who tried (unsuccessfully) to teach me metal work at Harehills Secondary School? I recall him being grey haired and much heavier than he looks in this picture.
