Sorry Anne, Booker was not his real name, I think he was South African and I understand that his name was Vander Bosh.

Great memories here, used to get to Studio 20 in those days. Wally Whyton is 2nd right he led the group they disbanded in 1960 Top hit was 'Don't you rock me Daddyo' Wally went on to be a Radio Presenter for many years. Lonnie Donegan emerged as the King of skiffle with his many many hits
