Image shows two champion weight-lifters from Morley, Nat Thewlis, left, and Fred Marsh, right, as they show off their prowess. They often teamed up as "The Hercules Brothers", giving demonstrations of strength and skill. Fred Marsh represented Great Britain in the 1936 Olympic Games held in Berlin, and Nat Thewlis was British champion between 1930 and 1935, firstly at nine stones and then ten stones.
