Moortown Motors, paint shop
1962. Interior view of the paint shop of Moortown Motors Ltd., Motor Distributors, Motor Car Agents and Engineers, situated on Regent Street by the junction with Skinner Lane. This shows the body shell of a car on its way from the spray booth into the drier. Photograph courtesy of Don Smith, who was manager of the paint shop at the time.

I remember this body shell as it was the first of many we painted over the time I was there, it was in Ruby Red, the whole car was a wreck I thought the insurance would have written it off as there cant have been much difference in the repair bill and a new vehicle.
