Description:
1962. View shows the body shell of a car in the paintshop of Moortown Motors on Regent Street, in the process of having paint work done. The car, in its finish colour, is seen here in the drier where it would remain for 45 minutes. Moortown Motors, part of the Arnold G. Wilson group of companies, were concessionaires for Volkswagen. Photograph courtesy of Don Smith, who was manager of the paint shop at the time.
