Image shows the Lands Lane entrance to the Core, the King Charles Arcade. The Core is a shopping centre with frontages on Lands Lane and the Headrow. It was originally constructed in 1989 but underwent major refurbishment in 2009. There is now over 200,000 sq ft of retail space including nine large shop units fronting Lands Lane and The Headrow. Amongst the businesses occupying these units are Waitrose, Sports Direct and New Look.
