Image shows the Briggate entrance to the Thornton's Arcade. It leads through to Lands Lane. The Thornton's Arcade was built in 1877 by Charles Thornton and was refurbished in the 1990s. On the left is the shoeshop, Dune, at number 78 Briggate and on the right, Starbucks at number 80.
