Half way down Lascelles Road was Lascelles View , I lived there with my parents , Gordon and Flo Sharp from 1960 to 1971. At the end of our street was Greaves fish and chip shop , my mother worked there on an evening.

I lived at the top of Banstead Street No 46 across from the butchers. I used to go into the shop and ask for egg boxes (the big boxes all the little boxes came in). We used them for toy boxes and all sorts of things :). It was always sunny on that side of the street and always in shade on our side. Lived there from about 1962 to 1967.
